Vari-Gage Plus Electronic Controller
Vari-Gage Plus™
Product Status: ACTIVE
Digital Variable Speed Controller
The Vari-Gage Plus™ is a compact, SCADA-ready variable-speed pump controller. It controls two processes with up to six pumps, providing start, stop, alternation and speed control with precise level monitoring.
- One to six pumps from one controller and one part number
- Replaces every Vari-Gage model with a single touchscreen interface
- Networkable and expandable for integration with most SCADA platforms
Standard Features
Visual Indication
Displays pump mode (run, auto, fail), lead/lag sequence, alternation, process level and high and low level alarms.
Level Simulation
Simulates level to verify setup and alarm setpoints without moving liquid.
Maximum Number of Pumps
Limits how many pumps can run at once.

- Phase Loss, Float Backup, Intrusion Status
- Panel Alarm Status Output
- Alarm Messaging
- Run-Time Meters
- Flow Meter Daily Rates
Wet Well Clean Out (Flush) Mode
A user-set time or cycle count runs pumps past the normal setpoints to flush the wet well and limit buildup.
Wet Well FOG Buildup Reduction Mode
Varies the operating level so fats, oils and grease do not build up at one elevation. User selectable.
Clog Prevention Mode
After a set time or number of cycles, runs the pump in reverse and forward to clear rags from the impeller.
Volume (Flow) Calculation
Estimates flow from pump characteristics and the rate of level change.
Advanced Alternation
Alternates up to 6 pumps or blowers in automatic mode; any unit can be fixed as lead, with or without alternation.
Advanced Grouping
Assigns pumps or blowers to separate alternation groups, such as a five-pump station run as a duplex and a triplex from one controller.
